Someone actually made a real fight in the game, they did reaper vs ghost and reaper vs sea dragon. The reaper won both times bc the others were to slow to hit the reaper

I thought of a leviathan that hunts by gently swaying webbed tendrils through the water (one can split into three webbed) and filter feeds around the islands, it disguises as a rock island with pink floating sacs to mimic floaters. Harmless to most creatures but works with the hidden leviathan acting as a resting spot once in a while while it protects it from other dangers. When threatened it expels a flurry of bioluminescent algea like a school of fish to deter or distract others

where s the ghost leviathan, silence leviathan, gargantuan leviathan?

The Gargantuan Leviathan causes the Fear of feeling small compared to something Big. The Ghost Leviathan Causes the Fear of screams, usually screams, especially High pitched ones, cause a sense of Danger. The reaper leviathan has echolocation so every time it roars it knows where you are, without you knowing where it is, which is the fear of the unknown. The Stalker Leviathan is the Fear of Being watched constantly, you could try to forget that aching feeling in the back of your mind... telling you that something's wrong, but before you can listen to your instincts over Reason, it would already be too late...

17:58 I shit you not I had a dream about this place a couple of weeks ago, I don't remember going here pre-facility but I had a dream where I was in the area and I was keeping my distance from a bunch of leviathans and hurrying to get to the wall for some reason, I don't remember it too well but the big open area with the sandy texture so deep in the world gave me deja vu

The Mesmer Leviathan most likely would be bigger than the sea emperor or the same size to take one down or just jump a poor sea emperor with more its own kind with its abilities stated in the trailer video.

Hey, Aci. I have an idea for a new subnautica creature you could add to the mod. Here's an idea as to what it can do: the creature lurks in the shadows of a cave with many tunnels. It will make a clicking sound repeatedly in one tunnel. If you go in the tunnel it bites you in an animation and swims off into the shadows once again. When it does so it brings in another one of it's siblings. The siblling will also make the clicking noise but always in a separate tunnel. The cycle keeps going if you keep going into one of the tunnels. If you swim into them too many times they will block every tunnel and all ambush you dealing a great amount of damage. These new tunnels can be in the walls of the void drop. There is a way to avoid this annoying game mechanic. Just flash them with the flashlight and that will be sufficient. At that point the one you flashed will make a high-pitched click and the others (if any others at all) will hear it and go to the end of a tunnel which is where they would be hiding precious loot. If they kill you they will grab any loot you dropped and put it into a stash at their home base and hoard it with the rest of their siblings. (I was thinking they could be an eel of sorts. You can decide though. If you don't like any of the behaviors feel free to tweak them. Just saying it is not supposed to be a leviathan class creature. If you want you can add lore as to why the tunnels are there. You don't have to use the creature idea but if you want then feel free.)

I know it's been a while since the hydra video, but you could add upgrade modules that would allow you to use blocked research paths, so you could do tech and organic, they would be very expensive though

I think you can? Just stun lock em and ghost leviathans will die it’ll take a while but eh same with the dragon one but use the prawn and stun lock with the sniper

Didn't realize this video was 7 years old until the very end. Brand new subnautica player and there are now 6 ghost leviathans in the game not counting the ecological dead zone.

The scariest part is that the entire subnautica map is around half the length of a gargantuan leviathan

I think you should also be able to make your own leviathan like an upgraded version of some of the vehicles

not sure if it was mentioned but i do know of at least one mod that added a base piece, the cyclops docking mod adds a vertical base piece that allows you to dock the cyclops. it uses the base power to charge the clops and even allow access directly from your base to the clops. maybe you could ask that modder for help about new base pieces or look at the code for it if that helps at all.
